Would donate or would have donated

1.If I had been Steve Jobs, I would donate billions of dollars to poor.

2.If I had been Steve Jobs, I would have donated billions of dollars to poor.

Which is the correct one?

[ He might have donated a lot like Bill Gates. I am not aware of his philanthropic life.]

I know it is incorrect to write if I were Steve Jobs because he is not alive.

As you say, your opportunity to be Steve Jobs is over. So is your ability to donate his money, so "I would" is not correct.

The first one can only be correct in a metaphysically implausible world. You're supposing you were once Steve Jobs, and now you aren't. Under those conditions, you would make the donation! You'd have to pull in some modified version of reincarnation theory to make that one work.

If I had been Steve Jobs (in a previous life), I would now (in my own life) donate billions ...
