Would / d

Hi,

“My sister would be angry with me if she knew that I was gossiping about her behind her back.”

“My sister’d be angry with me if she knew that I was gossiping about her behind her back.”

I know that we can abbreviate ‘would’ in English and write ‘d’ instead, but it doesn’t look very good in this case.

What do you think?

Right. Except that if it was dialogue, it'd be required if that's what she said rather than "My sister would …." It does not read as strange as it looks, if you will.
