Would be fun

Going by the trailer, there is a lot that we will get to know about Mira, including her ex-boyfriends. Considering we know all about the actor and his not-so-secret 'Goa' trips, it would be fun to know Mira's past as well.

Please explain the grammatical function and use of "would be fun"? Is "will be fun" equally grammatically correct ?
