Would be

A: Somebody is knocking on the door. That would be Rio.

B: Ask Rio about this process. He would know about it.

My question are the following.

QN1. Is the use of would in the first and the second sentence the same? Meaning in a way one might be hypotbetical or other might be presumption.

QN1. Can "would be" be used to always mean presumption if there is no implied of or if clause at all? So far, that's what I think of. What do you think?
