Dear Sir or Madam,

Having read your job posting for "Planning Engineer - Country" on site1.com and on site2.ch, Ref: 2960, I found the job description and the requirements distinctively reflecting my area of expertise. Therefore, I will be particularly grateful if you would consider my application for this position and I appreciate the opportunity to join your team of planners and add value directly or indirectly to your business.
I am experienced in developing programs and project schedules, project forecasting and development, collecting and compiling progress and schedule data. I am meticulous in monitoring performance, reporting and facilitating effective project schedule control actions. I am competent in Primavera, MS Project, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, with quantitative and analytical skills. I am fluent in French, German, and in Spanish.

I worked on large gas processing plants construction projects in southern country, namely project1 Gas Boosting Terminals and project2 Gas - piping fabrication.
I believe I am better equipped than a simple planner, with the advantage of a better understanding of strategic issues in business management and communication environments in general, and with Anadarco, owner of most projects in country, in particular.
I have enclosed a summarized copy of my C.V. for your attention; however a detailed career history and reference will be supplied upon your request.
I am currently available for interviews and if you would like to discuss my career in any more detail please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind Regards,

M. Lyes

From my point of view the end should be:

Yours faithfully, (not Kind regards)

At least that's what my teachers have told me. When writing a formal letter in which you don't know the addresser, put at the beginning (Dear Sir or Madam,) and at the end (Yours faithfully)

On the other hand, if you know the name of the person you are writing to (Mr. Smith (for exam
