would after if

Hello,

In this context, I'm asking someone if he is intending to come to our party. Which one is correct?

"I was wondering if you would come to our party?"

"I was wondering if you came to our party?"

I've got a feeling that using would after if is not grammatically correct.

I appreciate your time.
