Would a teacher help? "like" or "the way" "while" or "as"?

Hello,

Could you please be so nice as to help understand these questions?

As or while continuous or not?

- I arrived as the car pulled up/was pulling up.

- I arrived while the car pulled up/was pulling up.

- I arrived before the car pulled up.

Like or the way, would I have to restructure?

- He doesn't laugh with me the way/like the does with you.

- You aren't like the person he said you were. You're nice not mean like he said.

- You aren't the way he said you were like. You're nice not mean like he said.

- You're not the person he said you were. You're nice not mean like he said.

- You're not the way/like I imagined you.

Thank you very much

You said "I think the others are all the same as (a)"

These with (way) don't sound right?

- You aren't the way the person he said you were. You're nice not mean like he said.
