Good morning,
Here is a conversation between Harry and Dan.
Harry: What exactly does “barcode unreadable and replaced” mean with FedEx and should I be worried? I have waited nearly 6 weeks for this item to come back in stock, probably have to wait longer if this item gets lost in transit.
Dan: It's not lost. FedEx documents every single action done with a package. This just means the barcode was unable to be scanned properly so a fresh barcode was put on the package. Shouldn't even interrupt delivery window at all.
Harry: Ok thanks. It did shift delivery out to Monday and nothing happened overnight but it would be hard to lose this as the box is large and weighs 120 lbs. just guessing it didn't make it on the truck yesterday as a result. I guess the good news is that they would have scanned it after they replaced the label so they know where it is.
The bold “would” shows imagination like “it would be hard if the box were to be lost since the box is large and weigh 130 Ibs, right?
The bold “would have” is would of probability, not third conditional, right?
