Hello!

I have a question. could you help me?

I saw this sentence and I am not sure what does "would" mean in below sentence.

here is the sentence >> No, answered the director " A normal person would pull the plug."

in this case I think "would" means not hypothetical

and I often here people use would like not in hypethetical situation.
