Would

Conversation 1:

A: Do you know where Alex is?
B: He might be at the gym.
A: I would be pissed if he wasn't there. I really need to talk to him.

Conversation 2:

A: Do you know where Alex is?
B: He might be at Jack's house.
A: I would be pissed if he was there. I told him so many times no to go there.
