Would

Jack: how do you think Tina might feel when she hears that Alex failed again in the mathematics exam?
James: I think she would feel happy when she hears it. She has always wanted him to be a looser.

Is the conversation correct with would, especially the 'when' part?

  • Jack: H ow do you think Tina might feel when she hears that Alex failed again in the mathematics exam again ?
  • James: I think she would will feel happy when she hears (it).
  • She has always wanted him to be a lo o ser.
  • I'd probably use will rather than might in the first sentence.
  • The last sentence doesn't sound very natural to me.
