Would

Hello,

A person( say A) is answering the question of a person say (B).

The person "A" start his sentence like

" I would say that it is a noun."

What does "would" here suggest?

Does it suggest the opinion of the person answering the question?

Can we use the word "Could" in same way, for giving a opinion?
