"i would rather" is correct... " (notice the separation of "care" and "less") This is almost the same as saying "I really don't care" or "I don't give a **** (about it)" "I can care less" is grammatically correct but it is of a different context.

"i would rather" is correct...
"i rather" might be the spoken english version of "I would rather" or "I'd rather"

It should be "I couldn't care less." (notice the separation of "care" and "less") This is almost the same as saying "I really don't care" or "I don't give a **** (about it)"
"I can care less" is grammatically correct but it is of a different context.
