Woul you be more implicit?

Here are my opinions.

Would you be more implicit? No!

Please don't be so descriptive? OK.

Please don't be so vivid! Not idiomatic, but possible.

Please don't go in such great detail! Fine.

Also:

Please don't be so graphic!
Please be more discreet!

In a more joking mood:

You really don't need to share quite so much!

Also -- although we don't say "would you be more implicit," you could say "please don't be so explicit."

In addition to what has been said by Jim and Khoff I'd like to invest my contribution. Implicit is something which is metaphorical or in someone's mind. So to speak, something that is implicit is intangible.

Instead of 'more implicit' you can use 'less explicit', especially with respect to sexual description.

I'd probably say, "Spare me/us the details."

Perhaps it's not quite appropriate, but it did come to mind. It's probably better used when someone is using foul language. You're calling attention to the fact that the mouth that says such b
