How do you write this?

Being late was worth 100 dollars.


100 dollars was worth being late for.

It's not worth waiting 10 minutes to take the subway one stop. You might as well walk.

Here is what I think, I'd like Mister Mocawber to take a closer look if he can.

Being late was worth 100 dollars. This is wrong "being late" was the prized thing which you gained by doing "that."

100 dollars was worth being late for.

It's not worth waiting 10 minutes to take the subw
