Worry about

She worries about his health.

Is the prepositional verb worries about transitive or is about his health a complement of the intransitive verb worries in the sentence above?

Top answer

In my view, "worry about" does not really qualify as a phrasal verb, so I would plump for the "worries is an intransitive verb" interpretation.
