Workload mounting

Hi,

“The school started a week ago and my workload is already mounting.”

“The workload for my History class is already mounting.”

“My workload at school is mounting high now that the exams are coming up.”

Could ‘mounting’ be used like that?

Are the sentences I suggested correct?

Thank you.

“I'm already getting lots of work for my History class..”

“I'm getting overloaded at school now that the exams are coming up.”
