working/residential population

1-1. the number of the people who are working in a particular area, not
necessarily living in the area
1-2. the number of the working people who are living in a particular area,
not necessarily working in the area they live in
2. the number of the people living in a particular area(, not necessarily
working in the area)

Is the term 'working population' for 1-1 and 1-2?
'Resident population' for 2?

I wonder if there are any terms that differentiate 1-1 and 1-2.

Thank you.
