Working with multiple plurals

Hi,

I am not sure if the following sentence conveys what I want it to.

The store buys each of the products at a cost and then sells it at a mark-up (premium) or mark-down (discount). Now the chart shows how each product’s sticker price compares with its cost. For example, product A’s sticker price is at a 10% premium to its cost.

This chart shows premiums/discounts to their costs for all the products in our store.

Thanks,

MG.

Musicgold I am not sure if the following sentence conveys what I want it to. I assume you are mostly concerned about the sentence in blue. Premiums and discounts can only be, by definition, "in comparison to cost", so it seems to me that the following would be sufficient: This chart shows premiums and discounts for all the products in our store.

Thanks CJ.

Let us assume that I need to keep the reference to the costs in the sentence. A product can be priced at a premium or discount to the average market price of the product.

In that case, is the sentence okay in its current form?
