Working Holiday Japan Motivation letter

Hey all, I am form Germany and im signing up for a Working Holiday Visa for Japan. So I have to write a Motivation Letter. My grammer is not the best so it would be very nice if someone could correct my mistakes.

Thank you very much!

Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to apply for a Working Holiday Visa for Japan from June 2017 until June

2018.

My name is......and I am ....Years old. Right now I'm living in .......,

the Partner city of Naruto in the prefecture Tokushima. I am currently working as

camera operator for a TV show. In the following text I will present my motivation why I

want to travel to Japan.

My first contact with the Japanese culture, started since I was a child, with Japanese

entertainment (manga, anime etc.). Even back then I developed interest, because it

was pleasantly unfamiliar.

As I grew older, I subsequently developed my interest in the Japanese language and

culture more and more. I have started to read books from known Japanese authors,

like Haruki Murakami. Since then I looked at Japan through a completely different

perspective, which was unknown to me. In addition, my interest in the Japanese

communication and the kindness of the Japanese People has developed.

Furthermore I’ve got very interested to Japanese architecture (modern and

traditional) as well as Japanese history.

Since October 2016 I have been studied Japanese language on my own, and also

took Japanese language classes. Therefore I have basic knowledge in Japanese

grammar. As well I can write and read the Kana and up to 200 Kanjis. During my stay

in Japan, I’m willing to study more Japanese language and to try to be successful at

the JLPT N4.

The more I get to know about Japan and Japanese culture, the more I want to be

there to understand and experience the culture and daily life. I keen to learn more

about this country and its history. I’m hoping get insight into Japanese working life

and to find new contacts as well as Japanese friends.
