Working for v working in

Hi Teachers,

(1) For the below 2 sentences, i am not sure which one is correct and why?

(1) I am working for Microsoft.

(2) I am working in Microsoft.

Questions:

(Is Microsoft (the company) a box? Because the company is so big like a box to me)

Is the 2nd one right or wrong?

The second version is not correct. 1) is fine or you could also say 'I am working at Microsoft'. 'In' is used in relationship to the type of work you do, for example 'I am working in computer-aided design these days' or 'Do you know Fred?
