WORK WHILE SING vs SING WHILE WORK

Which would you say?

1 He sings while he's is working.
2 He works while he is singing.

I'd venture a guess and say that the two have different meanings ^^, but a I am not sure, to be perfectly honest:)

He sings while he works means that when he carries out his work he sings.

He works while he is singing makes the singing more important than the work. If he stops singing then he stops working. It could be sacastic - that he spends more time singing or he could work as a singer and describe periods of ill-health.

The activity in the main clause is the secondary activity that occurs within the larger context established by the activity in the while-clause.
