Work this/that late

Hello. Two questions to this dialog.

Are 'did you just get off work?' and 'you just got off work?' equally natural and mean the same thing?

Would you use 'this' or 'that'?


Person 1 - Did you just get off work? / You just got off work?

Person 2 - Yeah. Ten minutes ago.

Person 1 - You always work this/that late?

Person 2 - Yeah, most days.
