I ran into this phrase( "work in a day to day capacity within a company" )and am wondering about the meaning. If anyone have an idea of the meaning, would you tell me about your opinion? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks! pb

I would state the phrase as 'day-to-day basis'. It means a continuous job, but nothing as high as administrative position.

One more thought after reading your comment... You said that position is not as high as administrative position. Then, if a person in that position (I mean a person working in a day to day capacity) approves expenditures of a company, what do you think about it? Still do you think it is possible?
