Hi

Could you please tell me the natural words/phrases with the word signal? Are these fine?

[At the signal -- in a car]

A - Waiting for?
B - Waiting for the green light.

A - Waiting for?
B - Waiting for the signal to end.

A - Waiting for?
B - Waiting for the signal to open.

A - Waiting for?
B - Waiting for the red light to go.

The grammar is fine but the sentence is not natural.

Are these sentences fine? (natural, okay, acceptable?)

Yes, it does, but "fine" is only used in the positive (not the negative or the interrogative) version of that sentence.

Those sentences are fine. [ natural ]
Those sentences are not fine. [ unnatural ]
Are those sentences fine? [ unnatural ]
