words when added "s" at the end confuses me

Would somebody please explain which is correct in the sentence - trust or trusts. I'm always confused with some words when "s" is added at its end - it changes the meaning of the sentence.
ex. Contractor trust/trusts to have informed Company by this matter.

Many thanks!

Hi Nona,

The sentence below ends up a letter informing "Company"(which is our client) about the standby of our resources; "Contractor" is my company.

"Company" and "Contractor" are contractual defenitions.

Contractor trust/trusts to have informed Company by this matter.
