Words not found in the dictionary

I tried "modified basketball rules" and found this: . The purpose seems to be to make the game less tiring. The same kind of thing might work for "modified wrestling".

Well, "a" is in the dictionary, and so are "la" and "mode", but that doesn't mean I am able to divine what "a la mode" would mean.

Same with "modified basketball"
