Words mispronounced by native speakers

Hi

Could you please tell me a few words that native speakers mispronounce frequently? I have heard houses and heinous mispronounced in films.

There are plenty of lists on the Internet. One that particularly annoys me is people saying "bought" when they mean "brought". The word "anemone" is almost always said as "anenome".

A few more heinous mispronunciations:

"grievous" pronounced "gree-vee-us"
"mischievous" pronounced "mis-chee-vee-us"

(it is said that the latter, at least, has a long history, but in modern English it sounds horribly wrong)

One of the very worst:

"nuclear" pronounced "nyoo-kyoo-lar".

suite v suit - as in bedroom suite, en suite, the penthouse suite...

I knew an American French-speaking English teacher with a master's in English who insisted bedroom "suite" was pronounced like suit.

I believe house as a verb is with a /z/; they housed the soldiers in barracks next to the wharf.

houses as a plural noun has an /s/.

I think with the influx of Spanish speakers and immigrants, who often make mistakes with the s/z sounds, we might be witnessing changes.
