Grammar

Words in a song

Could you give a formal interpretation of one of the song's line:

"Ain't no mountain high enough..." (subconsciously I understand it in this way: "There are no mountains high enough..." Is it so? If it is so, why is it possible to put double negation ???

" = There is no mountain high enough olive bee double negation It's OK in this song. Songs don't always use the same grammar as you find in more formal contexts. CJ
