Words beginning with X and Y in Othello?

Hi all,

I'm writing a children's alphabet book for extra credit in my Ancient Literature class, based off of the Shakespeare play Othello. I'm trying to find words that relate to the book for each letter of the alphabet but I can't find any for X or Y. Help?

Hi, I assume you mean 'that can relate to the play' rather than 'in the play'. Can you find some way to use xenophobic or even XL (= extra-large)? How about yak yawn year yes yield you young ?

The only 'X' word in Shakespeare is 'Xanthippe' (Taming of the Shrew, Act I, scene 2, line 71).

As for 'Y': 'Yawn'; occurs in Act V, scene 2, line 99, and 'yesterday' occurs in Act III, scene 3, line 334.
