Words after a dash in plural or in the singular
Hi. Should the underlined words be in plural, eg beach chairs and boxes?
There is room for all our stuff -- beach chair, tents, tackle box, fishing rods and others.

I just thought it was strange, at least to me, that the two phrases "beach chair" and "tackle box" were without English articles (in front of them).
