There is an adj., resentful, which means filled with resentment:

She gave him a resentful glance.

However, there is no official word for "deserving of resentment," and so one has been coined and is used informally, especially in the social sciences and journalism:

He is a resentable person.

I have no idea what this means. Are we talking about the resentee or the resentor?

Would you say that the person who is filled with resentment deserves it??

'Tis a puzzlement.

A justifiably resents B. A is filled with resentment. Which one is deserving of resentmen

I have never heard or read "resentable" (and I think it would be very likely to be mis-heard as "presentable"). For that matter, I've never needed a specific word for "deserving of resentment." What's wrong with "people resent him"?
