WORDING AND TENSE PROBLEM NEED LOT OF HELP PLEASE

Could you please help me correct these sentences? I'm having wording issues and tense problems.

1 If when heating your house, you heat the room to one celius less than the usual temperature, you can save up to 7 percent on your electricity bill.
2 The bus starts running are the time the metro starts.
3 She's not nice enough for me to sit next to her.
4 The train will have pulled in by the time I'm about to step on the train.
5 I know the district as if I had lived here my whole life.
6 Sit on the ledge with your feet off the ground. Don't put any weight on your feet.
