Are these two sentences worded and structured in the correct way?
When Chovuk Boyla, the warlord of the Uigan plainspeople, and his bodyguard Hult traveled to the Dreaming Green, Eldako was granted leave by his father to join with the Uigan horde in their attacks against the Imperial League. Upon rendezvousing with the army, Eldako showed his worth instantly when two Uigan lords, Hoch Tegin and Sugai Tegin, revealed that they were trying to take command of the horde from Chovuk.
