Hi there

New to this part of the forum. Can anyone help with the folllowing, please?

Supply a suitable word to complete the following phrases (my suggested answers are in red font - sometimes more than one answer when not sure):

  1. a bellow of (rage)
  2. a gush of (water, goodwill)
  3. a snarl of (teeth)
  4. a clattering of (hooves, keyboards, irons)

I could not think of anything. I used hills and seas , as in rolling seas or rolling hills). Maybe, i was incorrect here.

I cannot think of anything that rolls, perhaps a water-mill. What do you think, pl
