Hi thereNew to this part of the forum. a gush of a blood, feelings
a snarl of facts (snarl=clew) what exactly meaning of this word do you want to use it?
a clattering of irons,bolt. All of your words are suitable.
a rolling of ?? what do you mean there using seas, hills and so?
a whirr of propeller
a rustling of the money, tyres along the road
a swishing of the whip

I could not think of anything. I used hills and seas , as in rolling seas or rolling hills). Maybe, i was incorrect here.

I cannot think of anything that rolls, perhaps a water-mill. What do you think, please let me know?

So. At first. The word "rolling" according to Collins dictionary has following meaning:

1) having gentle rising and falling slopes; undulating - rolling country

2) progressing or spreading by stages or by occurrences in different places in succession, with continued or increasing effectiveness - three weeks of rolling attack damage town a lot

3) subject to regular review and updating. a rolling plan for overseas development

4) deeply resounding; reverberating - rolling thunder

5) extremely rich - rolling singer

6) slang. swaying or staggering - rolling event

Which of these would you like to use?

The examples are above in bold.

a snarl of (teeth) This sounds odd. The wood focuses on the emotions, eg a snarl of anger/rage.
a clattering of (hooves, keyboards, irons) What kind of irons clatter?
a rolling of (seas, hills, irons) This is a bit tricky, because it sounds like an odd and literary kind of thing to say. Perhaps 'a rolling of thunder'. How about 'a rolling of wheels'? 'He rolled his eyes' is a common expression to express scepticism.
a whir of (wings) The spelling 'whir' is OK. 'The variant form 'whirr' is also OK.
a rustling of (leaves, silk)
a swishing of (skirts, curtains)
