Word/ phrase required for wearing the slippers.

0Hi02br

00I really find it difficult to ask this question--but, have you ever noticed little children wearing slippers in a way that the right slipper is (covers?) on the left foot and left one (comes?) on the right foot? How can I say it to my little brother:02br
02br
01b00Why are you wearing your slippers 01i00_______________02i00? (left to right???)02b02br
02br
00PS: Please edit my question--I am aware it's poorly written.0-
