Word order meaning

What is the difference? But the first sounds better to me.
I think that is his car
I think that car is his

The two sentences both sound okay. I think there is a slight difference between them though, which one to say depends on the subject you want to emphasize. - Where is his car?

- Where is his car?
- That is his car.
OR
- Who is the owner of that car?/ Whose is that car?
- That car is his.
But normally they are interchangeable, I think.

Thank you very much!

Just curious are these correct:

Whose car is it? It is his car./the car is his.
I wonder whose car it is.
I don't know whose car this is.

The last one: I don't know whose car it is. We can say "I don't know whose car this is", suppose that the car is near or quite near to the speaker.
The rest are fine, I think

Thanks a lot. But I would like a confirmation, because the fact that you think will keep me thinking as well Emotion: big smile
