Word order

Hi all! I have a simple question about word order in a sentence, in two examples:
1a) You might want to get to know our target better.
1b) You might want to get to know better our target.

2a) The time to do sth. has come.
2b) The time has come to do sth.

Which sentences has the correct word order. And why?

know is the verb. our target is the direct object of the verb.

In English you can't put any words between the verb and its object.
