Word order

Is the word order in this sentence wrong?
"After the initialization stage, data exchange can happen."
Could the sentence be improved by changing word order? (Note that this is the first sentence of a paragraph where "data exchange" is described.) Also, is the usage of comma correct?

Is this suggested version a better way of expressing the above sentence?

"Data exchange happens after the initialization."

Hi, Both are OK. You just need to look at which one seems to fit better with the rest of your paragarph. I note that one version speaks of stages, and the other doesn't.

Hi,

I note that one version speaks of stages, and the other doesn't. And one version says that something 'can happen', while the other says that it 'happens'.
