Hello,

would you please comment on the following sentence:

Only by making the transformation have we any hope of mitigating the consequences of human-induced climate change.

I have studied in my Grammar that we should use inversion in these cases when we start a sentence with words like 'only', 'little', 'seldom', etc. :

Only by making the transformation do we have any hope of mitigating the consequences of human-induced climate change.
