word order

The evidence shows clearly or the evidence clearly shows. which is the correct word order?

I guess both of them looks exactly the same to me and no difference in meaning. But I am not native speaker. Hope this helps.

I'm not a native speaker either, but a teacher of the language.

I'd prefer the adverb at the end.

I'd say you could use either, but to my ear "the evidence clearly shows" puts more emphasis on "clearly."
