Hello everyone,
If a teacher wants to explain some parts of a curriculum to their students for example "grammar" but leaved the others to the students to do for themselves on their own for example "phonology" and so on, can the teacher say the following?
1. "Grammar" is up to me, and/but the rest of the curriculum is up to you, such as "phonology" and so on.
2. "Grammar" is on me, and/but the rest of the curriculum is on you such as "phonology" and so on.
Regards,
JA
on me here is a more recent version of up to me . It's a little casual and slangy.
