Word help

Which word is correct in these sentences?

Don't have have other things to do besides 'worry or worrying' about me.

Don't you have other stuff to do besides 'think or thinking' of the project.

Are both possible or only the '-ing' form?

Thanks.

Use the -ing form after "besides."

However, the front of the first sentence is awkward. I would say:
[You should/I want you to] Have nothing else to do besides worrying about me.

Also, in the second sentence, I would say "thinking about the project."

I hope this helps.
