For example, administrate and administer. dictionary give them same definition "[Tn] control the affairs of (a business, etc); manage".
aggression and aggressiveness. Dictionary also give them same definition.
aggregate and aggregation , they both can be used as a noun to express mass of something.

The most difficult ones are probably the ones where both versions are nouns, like "aggregate" and "aggregation," or "agression" and "agressiveness."

But you should be able to sort out the ones which are different parts of speech, such as "allergy" (n.), "allergic" (adj.); "alien" (n.), "alienate" (v.).

Avangi is correct. You must learn the parts of speech to be able to use a word correctly.

For example, compare is a verb, and comparatively is an adverb, and comparison is a noun. They all mean the same thing because they are different parts of speech derived from the same root word.

'provisions' is a plural noun. It means things to wear

Could you tell me more about how to differentiate "administrate" and "administer".
Although I have searched them in COCA but I still do not know how to differentiate them.
As the example given is too deep ,it's hard to understand it.
Thanks

I think you'll just have to learn these pairs one (pair) at a time.
"Administrate" and "administer" are both verbs. They're both things which a special person does.
The boss administrates (runs things), and the nurse administers (applies things to your body - meds, shots, backrubs, enemas, etc.)

Administer means more "to supervise in giving"
The teacher administers the test. (She hands out the test, watches the students, tells the students when time is finished, and collects the tests.)
The nurese administers the vaccination to the patient. (He gets the medicine, puts it in the syringe, wipes the patient's arm with alcohol, and gives the shot.
