Word correction

Hi,
are the following sentences correct and, especially, both or more words in them acceptable,please?

1] The saliva began dripping/leaking from the dog's mouth as we showed it a bone.

2] Water was squirting/splashing onto the boat.

3] Recent surveys have showed/indicated that 4 hours a day spent in front of/at a computer or TV are regarded as being/considered dangerous/harmful/damaging to our health.

4] This type of medicine/pills is for oral use only.

5] The flood has turned/changed/converted/transformed Brisbane into a ghost town.

6] It's about time we threw/gave a party, isn't it? We haven't had a party in a while.

7] If you had attended/taken part in the meeting you wouldn't be asking/inquiring for help right now.
