Word Choice - What works best?

Hello, just wondering which of the words in red works better in that specific sentence? I've included the first for context.

" I did what any other self-conscious teenager would do: I began to mime.

Now, it seems like a silly/foolish/ridiculous/absurd thing to have done, especially as I had to play in front of Mr Pash during my lessons, but during that first rehearsal, I just couldn’t do it. "

I'm not sure if absurd works better in terms of meaning: "wildly unreasonable, illogical, or inappropriate" as opposed to ridiculous "deserving or inviting derision or mockery" or silly/foolish "having or showing a lack of common sense or judgement"
