Word choice: [founding of] vs [establishment of]

I have made up first sentence below.

(1) We are planning a special dinner to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of our company.

My non-native English speaking friends have change "establishment" to "founding", as shown below.

(2) We are planning a special dinner to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the founding of our company.

Is "establishment" the wrong word? Thank you very much for your time and help.
