Word choice: "Cash desk" + "sale"?
Hello everybody,
There's phrase in my translation that looks somewhat weird even to my non-native eyes:
"Goods sale at the cash desk"
It might be a matter of vocabulary, but wrong grammar could be another reason, I'm afraid.
Perhaps, one of the following might be better:
a) "Sale of goods at cash desk"
b) "Selling goods at cash desl"
c) ???
The context is the follofing passage (I can only hope there aren't many mistakes in it either - of course, any additional corrections are welcome and appreciated! :-)):
"...
For a quick sale, the user can employ a newly created feature of the Sales module named Goods sale at the cash desk. It can be used to select the goods, or alternatively to load them using the bar code, and the quantity. The [name] system then automatically fills in the price and, in the background, simultaneously creates basic documents such as orders, issue slips, and invoices. This function is particularly suitable for retail, wholesale or physical stores.
..."¨

Thank you! The problem is 'at the cash desk' seems to be part of the name. Perhaps, 'Goods sale at the cash desk' is what I should use instead, right?
