Alternate:
I informed him that our roofer will stop by on 4/25 to assess the roof and that he will be contacted to discuss the shingle selection.
Either is possible. You don't need the second 'that'. Realize that you're saying that you will contact the roofer after he does the assessment, not that he will contact you.
