Word Choice

Hi, I was just wondering is it equally acceptable to say "like a man" at the end of this sentence instead of "like one".

I could tell people to call me Jude, dress like a man and bind, but I would have to take testosterone before I could sound like a man.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, that sounds OK. It took me a while to work out what "bind" meant, but possibly others may be more familiar with this procedure.
